As you all can tell from previous posts I am all about helping my loctician promote her jewelry through my blog. She is the most talented person I know. She's always creating something be it mixing shea butter for hair & body products, making beautiful jewelry or creating beautiful loc's for the newbies. She's successful in her own right locally but I know if we put forth effort she can be successful on the web! So we were trying to see how we can get more people to shop at her etsy site. I told her about the other loc'd ladies who are also promoting their jewelry or hair accessories by having a giveaway on their blogs. Well we decided why not try it ourselves and see what type of response we can get from the readers.
So here's the deal we have two items to giveaway I will post the items at the bottom of this post. First we're giving away a beautiful Tif Stik with a brown cowry shell & a black bead hand painted with green & bronze hues. Also we're giving away a hair tie with matching earrings. The hair tie & earrings are copper with speckled azure blue beads. So here's the deal my Nubian loc'd princess' you have until midnight May 23rd to leave a message about which item you're interested in and how you can rock it!

Yay, I'll post. ok I love love love the products I've seen on etsy. Umm... as for which I would rock and how, it would definitely be the hair tie piece, since I'm still a newbie I don’t have enough hair to do the tif stick the way I would like to but it is way cool. OK my style of choice would be with my hair twisted up in little rows on a diagonal from the right side of the front of my head all the way to behind my ear, going towards the left stopping slightly past the middle of my head. Then I would leave the left side out bringing it towards the front like a side bang. Finally to top off the style I would add the hair tie so that the tie is slightly behind the side bang and the charm is on the twisted side where it can be eye catching and I would add on the earrings. If you are having difficulty visualizing, go to my blog http:kayexquisite.blogspot.com and check out my twist in the yellow shirt and imagine them on a diagonal with a side bang and the hair tie LOL. I hope I win!!!!! Thank for the opportunity, and even if I don't win I will be hitting up the store shortly there are really some cute things on there that I must have.
OK, I'll post too. I too am a newbie with not enough hair to wear the tif stick so it be the hair tie for me as well.
Now as to how I'd wear it... hon I'm style challenged and don't have that much hair but I'd wear it in a puff with the lower back portion of my hair in a small french roll and a twistout on a side bang. Just like the pick in my avatar except the back will be up. A pic of the back portion is in my fotki.
Reassure her she has beautiful pieces. I've peeked at the shop and loved each one.
I'm so late on posting but so happy I'm still eligible. I would be interested in both but if I had to choose it would be the hair tie & earrings...
I'm a freestyler myself so I would rock the hair tie in headband and ponytail fashion. If possible, because of it's beauty, I would wear it as a necklace w/ the matching earrings...
As I read the other comments I see they don't have enough hair for the tif stick... I think I do so I'm game to try out some styles with it. I'm also style challenged and thoroughly love freestyling. The Tif stick will definitely challenge me for ideas of styling..
Thanks for the Giveaway and I hope many many more people enter to win. Her Etsy store has so many beautiful products.. Gotta wait til I get a job to do any ordering though....
