I need you ladies to comment & let me know what you think of this documentary Chris Rock is doing. I think it's kind of sad because they make it sound like our hair is just unbearable & disgraceful. Watch the trailer & tell me what you think.

I didn't take the video like that because the way I'm looking at it is Chris Rock is a comedian and he has to make this movie funny becuase thats what the public expects from him. The only thing I can hope is that a larger message is given in the movie that we don't have to perm, it is a harsh chemical, and in the long run natural is better for us. I guess we will all havee to wait and see, but I will definitely be in the theater with my daughter (hopefully its PG)

I hope that since the message is being delivered by a black entertainer who did not like the fact that his daughters came to him regarding the "issue" of hair, that it will be listened to, absorbed and acted upon.
